The Sentient Society was established as an open platform for sensory-based environmental learning and as a framework for participatory design.
Using sensory experiences and creative practices as tools for social learning, ‘The Sentient Society’ aims to weave new strands of experience into the urban space. Through creative methods like sensory mapping involving line drawing, storytelling, and visual poetry, its events seek to broaden the field for more comprehensive approaches to environmental awareness and involve communities in decision-making.
